Fabricated gears

Fabricated large gears deserve attention from the Australian sugar industry for their attributes of strength and reliability. Relatively high cost and long delivery time remain strong impediments have not been experienced overseas to the same extent. There is danger that the quality of gearing being supplied to the industry will become poorer, relative to the rest of the world.
