Further developments for wedgewire screens on rotary vacuum mud filters

By

This paper is an extension of the work reported to the 1990 ASSCT Conference. The interest in wedgewire screens lies in the potential of providing an inherently low maintenance screen medium, with less screen blockages and longer screen life. The aim of this work was to ensure that the performance of the wedgewire screens was comparable to conventional punched stainless steel screens.
