The Welcome & Offical Opening of the Conference was at 9am on Wednesday 27th April by Cr Greg Williamson, Mayor of Mackay Regional Council.
Keynote Speakers of the Conference was Pramod Chaudhari, Executive Chairman of Praj Industries and Simon Usher, Chief Executive of Bonsucro. Copies of the slides of both presentations are available for Pramod Chaudhari and Simon Usher.
Manufacturing and Agricultural sessions followed at this location.
The welcome function was held at Harrup Park on Tuesday 26th April the evening before the official opening.
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) presentations were mad on Thursday morning. Copies of these presentations are avaialble here.
The Conference Gala Dinner was held on Thursday evening at the MECC.
The Closing Ceremony was held on Friday 29th April, where the ASSCT President, Terry Doolan, announced the awardees for the best research paper and the best industry paper and poster papers. The Executive of the ASSCT announced the winners of the bursaries for 2016.
